Robert Zagar BSc (Hons) DO Lic Ac MBAcA

Robert Zagar has been a practicing registered osteopath (European School of Osteopathy) since 1986 and a qualified acupuncturist (British School of Acupuncture) from 1986. He has lectured in Anatomy and Neuroanatomy for five years. Prior to this, he was a registered nurse specialising in critical care and he also ran a health clinic in the jungles of Guatemala for two years. He has also trained and performed as a professional dancer (ballet and contemporary).

As a practitioner, Robert has twenty years experience in treating acute and chronic conditions. His particular interest is in the treatment of people with severe trauma where other treatments have not been successful. His approach is “patient oriented”, treating every condition in relation to that particular person. He incorporates many techniques, ranging from structural manipulation to cranial osteopathy, and he sometimes uses acupuncture as an adjunct therapy. He continues to further his professional development by attending seminars and conferences. Robert is a active member of The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), and The British Acupuncture Association (MBAcA).
