Jessica Ovett joined Robert at The Hillside Practice 2000, having worked for a few years in the West End at a North London Sports Centre and for one year in New Zealand. She graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.
Jessica's practice experience is quite varied, having worked in the acute and Sports Medicine area as well as long term biomechanical problems. In 2001 she worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children where she learned to treat children and babies using cranial osteopathy, a technique which is also very effective in treating adults.
Currently she is studying Pilates to use in combination with osteopathy. She is training in a specialist area (APPI Training) which focuses on people who wish to strengthen their backs ie. history of recurrent disc problems, women post pregnancy, and people with poor posture. Jessica is a member of the General Osteopathic Council and has a APPI Matwork Level 1. |
